Path of dreams

I walked the path of our dreams,

You wasn’t there with me,

I saw the horizons before me

And went far away from here.

I saw our home full of flowers,

I saw me laughing like a child

I saw my daughter running

Around with the dog.

I saw you successful at work

With bigger plans and happy

I was walking on the beach

The sand was telling me stories

Of so many lost dreams

Walking in their footsteps…

We lost the way for our hearts

I lost my soul and dreams
